This fine woven stainless steel wire mesh has a 0.1 mm aperture (100 µm) and a 0.065 mm wire diameter, which works out at 150 mesh. It is woven from AISI 304 (EN 1.4301, V2A) stainless steel. At this opening size the cloth retains fine particles, powders and sediment while still passing liquids and gases, so it is used as a filter and strainer medium rather than as a screen. The fine wire makes the cloth flexible and light; in pressure filters it is normally backed by a coarser support mesh to keep it flat. Every sheet is cut to your exact width and length, so it fits your filter housing, sieve frame or strainer without further trimming.

FAQ
- What does 150 mesh mean here?
- 150 openings per inch: a 0.1 mm (100 µm) aperture woven from 0.065 mm stainless steel wire.
- Does it need a support mesh?
- For sieves and low-pressure strainers it can be used on its own. In pressure filters a coarser backing mesh keeps the fine cloth flat.
- Which stainless steel grade is used?
- AISI 304 (EN 1.4301, V2A). A V4A (AISI 316) version with the same 0.1 mm aperture is available for corrosive media.
- Can I order a custom size?
- Yes. Every sheet is cut to the width and length you specify.
