This woven stainless steel wire mesh has a 0.5 mm aperture (500 µm) and a thin 0.2 mm wire, which works out at 36 mesh. It is woven from AISI 304 (EN 1.4301, V2A) stainless steel. The light wire leaves a large open area for its opening size, so air and liquids pass with little resistance while particles above 0.5 mm are held back. That makes it a good choice where flow matters: strainers, ventilation screens and sieves that should not clog quickly. Because the wire is thin, the cloth is flexible and easy to form around frames, though a coarser support mesh helps under sustained pressure. We cut every sheet to your exact width and length.
